I sent my really old silver eyed German Addy in for a new head. I got her back today and it's the funniest thing, she has a head with the nice cocoa skin that matches her old body and artist's mark, and the big font "Pleasant Company" but black hard eyelashes.

It doesn't look like the mattel heads I've seen, but it also doesn't look like the really old one she had. It doesn't bother me (AF-AM eyelashes SHOULD be black), but I'm curious

Does anyone have some really good pics of Addy (mattel and/or PC) I can compare to?

Regardless, I am REALLY happy with the doll hospital. They tightened her limbs, cleaned her spotless(she was very dirty, so that was a task alone), put her new head on, and sent her back within 2 weeks! She looks like a brand new Addy!

I also got back the AGT17 back (I am sellign her ot pay for Addy), but she certianly has a Mattel head. They did send a note apologizing that they did not have any of the older heads for that doll. (the fact that Addy did not have a note makes me also think her's is older) They did leave her strings on, and cleaned her up as well. She's not strung as tight as Addy, but is tighter than she was.
